The reasons I started blogging:
(1) Sharing stories is everything. I believe it’s an essential part of our purpose. It makes us feel less alone. It’s one reason I’m thankful for the internet- we can share our stories with one another even if we’ve never met. To me, that’s not weird. It’s kind of amazing.
(2) Writing is the way I understand myself. It’s the way I understand my life. I process things through either talking to myself in my head or through writing. Writing is much more productive. For some reason, when I write, I always lead myself to grace. My inner dialogue isn’t always as kind.
I want you to write, too.
I want your stories shared. I want you to find the real, healing power of writing that I believe it has.
This blog doesn’t have a million followers. I don’t care about that.
I care about sharing stories that might resonate with just one other person and change their day in some way. I care about you sharing your story in the same way.
So, here’s what we’re doing right now:
If you would like to share a story about motherhood, a reflection, a memoir, long or short, any kind of story, any kind of mom (old, young, new, seasoned, mom-to-be, dog-mom, struggling to become a mom), this is the place for you!
Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and simply tell me your idea. I’ll give you a deadline for you to draft up your memoir (don’t worry, you’ll have several weeks if you need them!) and you’ll email it to me, I’ll edit and submit it to the blog! If you have pictures you’d like to include, you can send them my way, too!
You can simply just fill our the contact form below with the information I asked for above, too!
It’s really simple. It’s simply sharing your story. Because it will impact someone. It will make another mom feel less alone. And that’s worth something. It’s worth all the things, actually.[contact-form-7 id=”771″ title=”Contact”]
